Packaging can be tricky but it cannot lie.  If it says 100% real cheese, you are good to go.


Items that say "made with cheese" are often not cheese.  Another way you can tell is by its texture.  Real choose should be hard, not soft


It is also important to ignore media campaigns like "No Fat" or "Zero Fat" because it can be misleading.  Some fats are not only good, they are necessary.  For growing bodies, young people need milk fat to get important minerals like calcium.


It can also be misleading because companies can remove one thing (fat) and replace it with another thing (sugar).  It's important that we read the nutrition labels for the real breakdown of our foods nutrients and not rely on the outside packaging.


Milk alternatives like Soya and Almond don't have calcium and need to have it  put in.  Look for the "Fortified" label on milk alternative products.  This Soya brand is not fortified.
