How to Make a Cappuccino
In this lesson, you'll learn how to make one of the most popular espresso-based drinks -- the Cappuccino.
What you'll need: Espresso machine Milk pitcher Cappuccino cup Thermometer
What happens if you don’t purge the steam wand? Select all that apply
Step #4 Switch on the steam wand. Create froth until it has reached 37°C.
While froth is created, the amount of milk increases, so make sure to place the nozzle close to the milk's surface.
Don't let the nozzle touch the bottom of the pitcher. Keep warming the milk until it reaches +55-62°C.
Step #5 Swirl the milk to release any large air bubbles. You can also tap the milk jug against a counter.
Step #6 Pour the milk over the espresso from a low height.
And there’s your cappuccino!

How to Make an Americano
In this lesson, you'll learn how to make one of the strongest espresso-based drinks-- the Café Americano.
What you'll need: Espresso machine Thermometer Coffee Cup Espresso Glass
Step #2 Pour hot water into a cup. Fill it up to two-thirds of the cup.
Step #3 Pour the espresso into the cup of hot water.

How to Make a Macchiato
In this lesson, you'll learn how to make one of the most popular espresso-based drinks with foamed milk -- the Café Macchiato.
What you'll need: Espresso Machine Milk Jug Thermometer Coffee Cup
Step #4 Switch on the steam wand. Start by putting the nozzle just on the surface of the milk.
After a few seconds, slowly elevate the jug so the nozzle reaches deeper into the milk. But make sure that the nozzle doesn't reach the bottom of the jug!
Step #5 Adjust the jug until you find the perfect position where a whirlpool is created in the milk. Continue warming the milk until it foams and reaches 60 °C.
Step #6 Swirl and tap the jug gently to remove large air bubbles in the foamed milk.
Step 7 Pour a small amount of foamed milk into the espresso cup. Remember: We only need the milk foam!
