Upload an Existing Inspection
Let's start with uploading a template using Smart Scan. This is a way to create a new form in seconds.
Then press “Upload and Convert Form.”
If successful, the Template Editor loads with all questions from the form as separate items.
You can also change the response types to match the type of field you need to display (e.g., free-text, question, etc.).
Select “Next” to move into the “Report” phase of your inspection setup. (You can also setup any Report Preferences formatting you want to associate to your inspection report).
Select “Next” again to move into the “Share” phase of your inspection setup Select “Save & exit” in the upper-right corner
iAuditor then returns you to the “Templates” menu Your template upload is complete, you’re now ready to share and conduct inspections!

Generate Inspection Reports
Mobile Here's how to generate an inspection report on the mobile app! In the app, select "Inspections" from the menu across the bottom. Choose the "In Progress & Complete" tab from the top and navigate to a complete inspection. Click into this inspection and hit "View & Download Report". You can now apply any predefined preferences (don't worry, we'll show you how to create these later). If you have no report preferences set up, you can choose which information to filter out/include in your report. If you want this report in PDF format, choose either; "Download PDF" or "Send PDF". For Word or to create a weblink, use the 3 dots in the top corner.

Web App Login to iAuditor on the web. Select "Inspections" from the left hand menu. Click into the desired inspection to view the web report. Again, here you can select any predefined preferences, or, if you have none, choose which information to filter out or include. You can now hit the PDF button to download in this format, or hit the Share button to create a link to the web report. If you want to export to Word, use the drop down icon next to the PDF button!

Use Report Preferences
Report Preferences: Web App Login to** iAuditor** on the web and choose "Templates" from the left hand menu. Hover your mouse over the desired template and hit the "Edit" button that appears. Navigate to the "Report" page from the menu along the top. In the Report Preference panel, click on "+ New Preference" to create a new one. **Select **if you want this to apply to all templates or just this one. Give the preference a catchy name and star selecting and deselecting information using the checkboxes. You can also add a preference specific logo here if you like! An interactive preview on the left hand side should help you reach your desired outcome, then press "Create and next". You now have the option to create an email template, more info on this will follow. The web report and PDF report will not reflect this preference.

Email Template
Report Preferences: Email Templates Once you've created your Report Preference and hit "Create and next" you will be presented with the option to edit an email template. The email template allows you to specify the To:, CC:, and BCC: fields, whilst pulling information from the inspection into the body of the email. These details will auto-populate when the inspection is sent from the mobile app. Please note, this will only work with the devices native email application.
Report Preferences: How To Use Whilst a Report Preference can be set to default for a template, you can apply them once you have conducted a report. Press the “Preferences” button in the top right corner. (If you see “Filters” instead of “Preferences”, this means that no preferences have been set up for this inspection's template) Select the desired preference from the available list. To apply additional filters hit the > icon. Choose items to add or remove for this specific report if required. Hit "Done" to generate the report. If on a mobile device, hit Send PDF to open the pre-populated email.

Add Team Members As Users iAuditor is better with a team. To add team members to your account you must first add them as users. Users can be added at any point during your subscription, including the trial. When you add a user, you will be charged a **pro-rated amount **based on the remaining time in the current subscription cycle. At renewal, you will pay for the total number of active users on your account.

Group by Team, Project, or Department
Creating teams using groups Use **groups **in iAuditor to add individual users to teams. From there, you can share templates and inspections, as well as assigning permissions at the group level. Users can be members of multiple groups and can also be removed from groups if required. Their permissions and templates will automatically update accordingly. You can only create a group if you have the relevant permissions.
Go to your organization tab (above your name) on the left sidebar. Click the "Groups" tab from the top menu. Any existing groups will appear on the list.
Click "Add group" on the top right to create a new group. Give your group a name and click "Create". Add users to the group by clicking "Add User" then type their name or email address into the field.

Share Inspections Never work alone with iAuditor!
**Giving your Team Access to Inspections and Results ** Sharing is the way you give your teammates access to inspections and their results in iAuditor. It is a powerful tool that controls which inspections you see on your account. It allows you to control the review of: The Template to conduct inspections The inspection results for review Both one and two There are essentially two major parts to the sharing process: **Step 1: **Sharing the template (form) to those who need to conduct the inspections **Step 2: **Sharing the inspection results of those you selected.
From the "Templates" menu select the template checklist you intend to share by ticking the box Buttons will appear including the **"Share" **option to the far right
