In this course, you’ll learn about the United Nation's Twin Track approach to address gender gaps, marginalizations, and exclusions to ensure that no one will be left behind, regardless of gender. Universal Class Gender Inclusivity Training Course - Sensitivity Training in the Workplace

4. Sensitivity Training in the Workplace

Offered in Universal Class, the Sensitivity Training in the Workplace discusses concepts on diversity and sensitivity, especially in workplace settings. It contains lessons that help identify various differences among individuals present in any organization. It mainly focuses on general diversity concepts, such as the proper approach in dealing with generational diversity. But, it also discusses the LGBTQIA+ community, in particular, to help you understand and develop sensitivity towards the diverse spectrum of sexual identities.

5. Gender and Sexuality: Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace

Available in Coursera, the Gender and Sexuality: Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace by the University of Pittsburgh is designed to analyze different identities and their relationships to see how culture is shaped in the workplace. This gender inclusivity course includes an introduction to a set of key LGBTQIA+ terms like transgender vs. cisgender, nonbinary, and even genderless. Then, it further dives into the history of gender, sexuality, and trans rights including related theories. By empowering your employees with a deeper understanding of their diversity, especially in the aspect of their gender expression and sexuality, they are able to be more proactive in creating a respectful and positive culture in the workplace. The modules of this course are also delivered through self-paced videos with supplemental reading materials and quizzes for each lesson.

7. Gender Discrimination in the Workplace

This Gender Discrimination in the Workplace course by Alison highlights the key issues of gender inequality, toxic masculinity, transphobia, and discrimination, including their origins and causes. In a partnership with UNITAR, EdApp developed The Importance of Women in Disaster Risk Reduction. This course explores the role of women and the gender lens in preparing against disasters. In celebration of International Women’s Day, this course demonstrates the impacts of women's leadership in disaster risk reduction, including some of the DRR organizations that support this principle. It also tackles how to look at disasters with a gender lens. In turn, it allows you to appreciate how women can be agents of change, which is backed by different studies and initiatives. Lastly, it emphasizes the relationship between gender and disaster risk reduction. But it doesn’t end there yet. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) also offers an hour-long gender inclusivity training course that you can use to learn more about the basics of gender equality. Through this course, you’ll also discover solutions that can help your organization establish a healthy and more inclusive culture.
