1. Electrical Safety

It’s close to impossible to stay 100% safe when working with electrical equipment. But knowing and understanding the right safety protocols and wearing appropriate safety gear can go a long way in controlling electrical hazards and keeping the workplace safe. EdApp’s Electrical Safety is the best electrical PPE free online training course to give to your workers. It makes sure that they’re familiar with the recommended safety practices before they go out on their next job.

This course starts with a quick refresher on the difference between energized and de-energized work. Within the same lesson, your workers will be taught how to properly use insulating protective equipment (IPE) to keep them safe when working around energized equipment. These safety gears include insulating gloves, rubber gloves, and other protective tools like hot sticks and switch sticks.

There’s also a lesson detailing how to spot electrical hazards, make a visual inspection, and remove any defective equipment before they cause any accident. In case of an arc flash event, your team will understand the know-how of performing basic first aid support to reduce the severity of injuries.

When building this course, EdApp used a microlearning approach so learning won’t be too much of a hard task for your workers. The lessons have been structured shortly and concisely, and finishing them takes only a short amount of time. This is more convenient than having them read a thick pile of modules or asking them to attend a week-long training program.
