Timely Suicide Prevention course for World Suicide Prevention Day

As we near World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10th, we wanted to contribute some valuable learning material to raise awareness and support your teams for free.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported that almost 800,000 people die from suicide every year. What’s more, one person dies every 40 seconds. With these devastating statistics along with the current challenges brought on by COVID-19, we know that mental health has never been more important. This is why we’re thrilled to team up with Dr. Rebecca Osborne – a specialist in suicide prevention for the NHS (National Health Service, UK) to provide free courseware to aid risk awareness and support suicide prevention.

Understand mental health and support your teams with Suicide Prevention course

This comprehensive collection is a guide to better understand mental health and a toolkit for suicide prevention with further resources to help support you and your teams.

All the content is now ready for you to access, edit, and share with your teams. Designed to help you open up conversations, create supportive spaces, and raise awareness to wherever you and your cohorts are, the courseware can be found in our editable content library below.

If you find it valuable, we implore you to share it with your teams to promote health and success, especially as we work through these trying times.

The Suicide Prevention courseware can be accessed now in the editable content library, under both Self Improvement and Modern Business Management. Find the learning content in your account.
