There’s no doubt that 2020 has been a challenging year full of unprecedented hurdles. With the devastating health impact brought on by COVID-19 to the lingering effects on the global economy, we have all learned that adaptation and resilience are key.

To help inspire and thrive in our post-pandemic world SafetyCulture and EdApp are hosting a completely free summit happening on November 19 and 20, 2020. The Summit will focus on the shift from surviving to thriving as we approach 2021.

Leading up to this, Sullenberger had been an Air Force fighter pilot and then a commercial pilot for 29 years. Regarded for his heroism and humility, Sullenberger saved 155 people with his quick thinking and calm demeanor. He was subsequently ranked second in TIME’s “Top 100 Most Influential Heroes and Icons of 2009” and was awarded the French Legion of Honor.

Erin Brockovich

Brockovich found Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG & E) was dumping chromium-tainted wastewater into unlined wastewater spreading ponds around the town, which resulted in devastating health complications, including cancer. She famously took on PG & E – and won – in 1992. Today, Brockovich is President of Brockovich Research & Consulting and continues to be involved in numerous environmental projects worldwide.
